Care Plus, the insect-repellent product of Tropenzorg, has received authorization to market all over the European Union seven products utilizing its Deet lotion in various proportions as pump sprays, a gel and its classic lotion as well, which has been on the Dutch market since 2007. The permit was granted by the EU Board for the Authorization of Plant Protection Products and Biocides last Dec. 17. Tropenzorg's Deet-based products are already sold in 26 countries around the world to protect travellers from insects carrying infectious diseases such as malaria or the current chikungunya problem.
