The Confederation of the European Bicycle Industries (CONEBI) has unanimously decided, on the occasion of its recent general assembly, to rename its e-bike working group as the Neuberger E-Bike Working Group, in honor of the late Siegfried Neuberger. The former managing director of the German Bicycle Industry Association (ZIV), with which he spent 25 years, unexpectedly passed away in June of this year. Neuberger also served as chairman of the European Standardization Committee (CEN) and was himself a leading member of the CONEBI e-bike working group.
