Jennifer Mull has been elected as the new chair of the Outdoor Industry Association (OIA) of the U.S., taking the place of Will Manzer, chief executive of Eastern Mountain Sports, following the end of his two-year term. Mull is chief executive and president of Backwoods Inc., a manufacturer and retailer of outdoor clothing, equipment and accessories based in Austin, Texas. The OIA's board consists of 18 elected members and 10 appointed non-voting members. Membership in the association has grown to around 1,350 companies from about 1,200 two years ago.
