The U.S. Outdoor Industry Association’s (OIA) annual board elections ended May 28 with the election of Toad&Co CMO Sarah Matt and Merrell CMO Janice Tennan as new board members. They will begin their three-year terms in July. The election also resulted in the re-election of BioLite CEO and co-founder Jonathan Cedar, Helen of Troy SVP marketing Phyllis Grove and Patagonia VP of global wholesale Bruce Old to serve their second three-year terms. Retiring from the board after the meeting are Outdoor Afro founder and CEO Rue Mapp after six years of service and Grassroots Outdoor Alliance director of retail membership and education Dana Howe after three years of service.
