The Italian Prime Minister, Matteo Renzi, paid a visit to the headquarters of the Tecnica Group at Giavera del Montello, near Treviso, on Oct. 5, as part of a series of visits to factories in Italy's Northeast. Tecnica Group's portfolio of brands includes Nordica, Blizzard, Tecnica and Moon Boot. During the visit, Alberto Zanatta, the group's chairman, reportedly asked Renzi to work to streamline bureaucracy in Italy and to support the industry's R&D efforts, similarly to what is done in other countries such as Austria, which Zanatta specifically mentioned as an example.
