The It's Great Out There Coalition is accepting applications for a new policy officer post. The duties include managing the coalition's daily activities, keeping abreast of public affairs in Europe and advocating active, and especially outdoor, lifestyles – notably for the #itsgreatoutthere campaign. The new policy officer will be working both from home and in Brussels. In the words of Andrew Denton, the coalition's secretary general, the policy officer will be “the key link between our members, the EOG [European Outdoor Group], other stakeholders, the wider outdoor and sporting goods industry, and policymakers at the highest level in Europe.” Applications, with a letter and CV or LinkedIn page, should be sent to Denton by midnight on Sunday, March 31, at the following address: andrew.denton@itsgreatoutthere.com. The coalition is an international non-profit association founded by the EOG and initially funded by the group's membership dues. It is based in Brussels and led by a small executive team and voluntary board.
