The U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) has agreed to review a complaint by Yeti that Alibaba and certain other online retailers and manufacturers are selling insulated beverage containers that infringe on nine trademarks or design patents that protect its coolers. Besides Alibaba, other companies named in the complaint are several other Chinese companies, Bonanza.com and ContewtLogic, which operates the wish.com website. Yeti is seeking an exclusion order and/or a cease-and-desist order prohibiting the importation of the allegedly infringing products.
