Mammut UK has appointed Neil Bradley, former country manager for Haglöfs in the U.K., to take over as managing director for the Swiss outdoor brand's British subsidiary from the start of December. He takes over from Chris Roberts, who left the company at the end of September. Apart from heading Haglöfs UK, Bradley was also managing large U.S. accounts for the Swedish outdoor brand. He has been in the outdoor industry for nearly 20 years, previously active in sales, product development and marketing for Arc'teryx, Pearl Izumi and Karrimor. After several years as country manager for Haglöfs in the U.K., Bradley had moved to the company's head office to become business area manager for apparel, and then left the Swedish brand to work as regional commercial director for Arc'teryx in Europe, the Middle East and Africa – but he returned to Haglöfs in the U.K. about two years ago. Bradley said in a statement that Mammut wants to be a relevant, reliable and profitable partner for both existing and new business partners, and for this purpose it would have to be clear on its distribution policy and accessible to consumers of all age groups. Graham Smith, key account manager and northern England sales manager for Haglöfs, is taking over Bradley's functions at Haglöfs UK on an interim basis. Meanwhile, Ethan Walker says he has taken over from Rob Sykes, Mammut UK's marketing and retail manager, handling all marketing responsibilities at the subsidiary.
