Marmot Mountain Europe has moved into new headquarters in Frankfurt. The U.S. outdoor brand has concluded an internal restructuring that began with its acquisition by Newell Brands in 2016. The parent company has sought to anchor the brand more firmly in its outdoor and recreation division. Jan Schapmann remains Marmot's commercial director for Europe and the Middle East. Sven Hasselbächer has become leader of the customer service department. The 29-year-old previously worked for Jack Wolfskin and Icebreaker. Denise Weber, marketing manager, and Sylvia Köhler, sales manager, are now also part of the Marmot Mountain Europe team. They worked previously for Coleman/Campingaz. Marcus Ehlig, 38, is now responsible for the sales operations division. Ehlig was previously working in the sales division of Black Yak, although he also worked for Marmot before joining Black Yak. The company will soon appoint a new sales agency for the Austrian market. It is currently in search of a new brand marketing and content manager. Malcom Rudge was made product manager for Europe in October of last year.
