ABS has put out a warning about the use of its avalanche ball systems with wireless activation. Until further notice, this activation must no longer be used, says the German company. Instead, the ABS avalanche ball is to be inflated manually. Apparently, the sonic transmission that activates the ball possibly does not work correctly. The company said that it ihas started a series of tests. It will inform customers as soon as possible on the results and take then any necessary action to ensure the snow sport enthusiasts' safety.
