Allied Feather + Down has announced what it claims to be the highest fill-power ever achieved in a certified post-consumer recycled down. The new RENU:750 represents an improvement on the RENU:700 down. Allied was able to alter the way that post-consumer material was processed and separated to create the new insulation, which tests over 750 fill power. Much of the recycled down on the market hardly achieve over 700 fill power, the company explained. RENU:700 was the industry’s first Global Recycle Standard (GRS)-certified post-consumer recycled down. The new RENU:750 will be launched in autumn 2021 with just two exclusive partner brands: Jones Snowboards and Axel Arigato.
