The German backpack and sleeping bag specialist Deuter, founded in 1898, is entering the 2021 season with a new logo. Martin Riebel, managing director of the brand, said: “In more than 120 years, Deuter has always reinvented itself. With the new logo and a new brand design for 2021, we are now ready for the future.” Part of this future is also the ongoing focus on responsible corporate action, according to Riebel. In addition to the well-known, lifelong repair service for all Deuter products, this includes sustainable production and fair working conditions in the countries of manufacture. In order to use and implement various resources responsibly throughout its entire supply chain, Deuter is already working with several initiatives, including the Fair Wear Foundation and bluesign.
