Eastpak, the American backpack brand owned by VF Corp., is releasing a four-piece line developed in collaboration with White Mountaineering, the Japanese apparel brand. The line includes a redesign of the company's classic backpack (starting at €170) and a travel bag that harks back to sports accessories from the 1990s (€270). In France, the line will be available through five retailers, among them L'Exception and Nous. Founded in 2006 by the designer Yosuke Aizawa, White Mountaineering is also collaborating with Millet, the French outdoor brand owned by LaFuma. For Eastpak, White Mountaineering is the latest in a long line of collaborators, among them Christopher Raeburn, Raf Simmons, Timberland, Vlisco, Uniwax, The Boyscouts and Quinze & Milan.
