Hestra, one of Scandinavia's top brands of winter gloves, is investing in the summer sporting goods market. The company has been making cycling gloves for the past few seasons and results have been good. According to Sportfack, the focus of Hestra's summer collection will comprise sports such as golf, horseback riding, roller skiing, running, paddling and climbing. Hestra does not expect its summer sales to be as large as its winter sales. It rather hopes the move will even out yearly sales and production cycles.
