Joel Abrahamsson, a 33-year-old Swedish angling champion who has been practicing mainly kayak fishing, has joined Johnson Outdoors Watercraft as a pro-staffer. He will help Johnson market its Old Town and Ocean Kayak brands in Sweden and to design new fishing kayak. Abrahamson made history in September 2014 by catching the heaviest fish from a kayak - a 566-kilo Greenland shark - off the Norwegian coast. He has written freelance articles for angling magazines in Europe and the U.S.
