La Sportiva has announced a three-year partnership with the Italian Sports Climbing Federation (Fasi) that makes the Italian company Fasi's technical sponsor. The partnership is meant to accompany Italian climbers and paraclimbers on their road to qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. La Sportiva will be providing all 170 athletes on Italy's national team with technical race and lifestyle clothing. The company will supply the athletes in the youth sector, the main team, the paraclimbing team as well as their respective coaches and technical teams. La Sportiva will develop a line of products specifically for the competing athletes, using breathable fabrics, anti-bacterial treatments and anti-rubbing solutions, the company said.
