Manteco, the Italy-based wool manufacturer, has launched MWool, a next-gen recycled wool that the company describes as “upgraded” recycled wool. MWool is 100 percent made in Italy. Manteco relies on a network of partner companies located within 10 miles of its headquarters, all of which operating towards sustainable growth and under Manteco’s guidance, the company explained. Through this network, around 1,650 tons of recycled wool can be transformed into MWool carrying, if requested, the Global Recycled Standard certification promoted by Textile Exchange.
