Montane, the U.K. brand of high-end apparel, has collected some £15,000 (€18,760-$23,500) to be donated to the Mountain Rescue England & Wales (MREW) for its excellent work. In a U.K. showroom, the effort, which took two years of fundraising, was celebrated in early May. MREW is basically carried by volunteers. In 2010, the organization helped, assisted or rescued 1,697 people.
