Polartec has announced the launch of Polartec Delta, its first cooling platform, at Outdoor Retailer Winter Market 2016. Delta is a wicking fabric for performance in warmer climates inspired by the design of car radiators. The new fabric is made of an optimal base layer that is said to be highly breathable without any chemical treatments. Delta holds sweat next to the skin, where it replicates the human body's natural cooling processes while still allowing the fabric to dry quickly. Polartec showed the capabilities of its Delta fabric at its booth at the trade show, which took place in Salt Lake City, Utah on Jan. 7-10.
