R'adys, the Swiss outdoor brand, is offering its customers greater customization with the introduction of 3D body scanners in German stores and a larger range of options. The €10,000 machines scan one million body points that are relevant for specific garment measurements. The customer can then log in to access the measurement and create the product, which is made in Switzerland. This procedure enables a reduction of lead times to between four and six weeks. The customer can tailor the colors and fabrics and customize the product with a name.
