Red Wing Shoes and Vasque footwear will be the presenting sponsor of Metanoia, the award-winning film about Jeff Lowe and his life as a climber. The U.S. premiere of the film was at the Boulder International Film Festival, on March 7. Lowe is an inspirational figure for both his sporting achievements and the way he has motivated others to keep going in the face of adversity, as he has been struggling since 2012 with a neurological disease. The film has won as Best Film at the Kendal Mountain Film Festival and was a finalist, last November, at the Banff Mountain Film and Book Festival, where the Metanoia team received three standing ovations in the theater during their presentation. The movie has recently received the Jury Award at the Vancouver International Film Festival.
