Reporting a 95 percent year-on-year increase in the sell-in of its new line of graphene shoes in the first half of 2019, Inov-8 announced on Aug. 15 the release on its website and at selected retailers of the Trailroc G 280, its first trail running shoe incorporating the technology. Besides its high-grip graphene sole, it features a more cushioned underfoot. Its patent-pending graphene technology was first launched with hiking and fitness shoes a year ago. It is expected to account for more than half of the footwear revenues of Inov-8, which is owned by Descente.
