Treksta, the big Korean brand of outdoor shoes, has come out with a new, hands-free lacing system for its Zerotie line. The system is activated by sliding the foot over the heel. Stepping on a release buckle releases the laces. Treksta, which has already used Boa Technologies' lacing concept, says it has an exclusive, global license on this new system, which has been developed by a different U.S. company. The Zerotie line is now being sold in 40 countries. It is selling very well in Korea.
