W.L. Gore & Associates says that it should be able to increase the percentage of Bluesign certified laminates that it offers to garment manufacturers to 50 percent within three years, up from a 20 percent ratio for those embedded in the next autumn/winter collections. It has a goal of obtain Bluesign approval for the majority of its Gore-Tex and Windstopper membranes over the same period. However, the company points out, this will depend largely on the textile suppliers' success in achieving Bluesign certification.
