A cluster of outdoor retail stores is taking shape in a new section of Oriocenter, the big shopping center next to Bergamo's international airport near Milan. The North Face recently opened a monobrand store there, next to a big multi-brand sporting goods store belonging to the DF Sport Specialist chain. A few days ago, Salewa opened a store, too. Furthermore, Thule has just opened its first single-brand store in Southern Europe in the same area, focusing on backpacks, luggage and other travel gear.
