Au Vieux Campeur, the French retailer specializing in outdoor apparel and gear, will set up shop again on Paris' Right Bank. As reported by sport-guide.com, the new space on the right bank of the river Seine will open at the Printemps de l'Homme, a section of the Printemps department store, during the spring/summer 2020 season. The retailer used to have one shop only on the Right Bank in the 1970s, not far from the Gare de Lyon. The first boutique Au Vieux Campeur was set up in July 1941 at 38, rue des Écoles, in the heart of the Latin Quarter, on Paris' Left Bank, where the chain's other 29 Parisian stores are still based, forming a single cluster. Alongside Paris, where most stores are located, the retailer is also present in Lyon, with 10 shops, as well as in Strasbourg, Marseille, Toulouse-Labège, Grenoble, Albertville, Chambéry, Thonon-Les-Bains and Sallanches.
