U.S. magazine Inside Outdoor has reported that Leatherman plans to realign and reduce its wholesale distribution partners in North America to create a “more consistent brand experience” for the Leatherman customer base. To streamline its retail strategy, the company plans to exit several accounts by the end of the first quarter of 2021, while focusing on increasing brand presence at regionally selected single- and multi-door accounts, with an eye toward a consumer-centric approach. Similar plans for Europe have not yet been publicized.
