Odlo has opened a franchised store for the first time in Germany in the town of Lörrach, in the extreme southwest corner of the country. The selling space of 180 square meters is run by Intersport Bohny, a local retailer that already operates two single-brand stores for The North Face and one for Schöffel in addition to its multisport business. Odlo altogether counts now 16 stores in the country, of which 15 are corporate. Six of them are factory outlets. Meanwhile, Odlo's managing director for Germany, Matthias Reichwald, has decided to quit the Swiss company. Effective February, he will become general manager of Ecco Germany, replacing Uwe Janzen, who has taken on responsibilities at the European management level of the Danish shoe brand.
