JO Sport will be taking over the distribution in Sweden of Blizzard and Tecnica from Scantrade after Feb. 28, 2021 and after deliveries of the autumn/winter 2020/21 collection. It will be able to carry out product presentations and demos for the subsequent collection from this coming autumn. Starting immediately, it will also be responsible for Tecnica hiking boots and trail running shoes, starting with the spring/summer 2021 line. Scantrade, which was focusing on the alpine ski products of these two brands, will continue to distribute the products of three other brands of the Tecnica Group: Nordica, Lowa and Rollerblade. Scantrade currently distributes nearly a dozen brands including Sidas, Thermic, Smith and Umbro. JO Sport has been working with the Rossignol Group in various roles since 2003, but it has only a service agreement with it since the establishment of Rossignol’s sales subsidiaries in Sweden and Norway in 2016, and the contract will expire at the end of May 2021. It also works with the Oberalp Group and Vista Outdoor, among others.
