The Sport 2000 voluntary group in Germany has appointed a new advisory board that better reflects the structure of its membership, where about half of the affiliated 940 retailers are now specialists in team sports, outdoor, running or online retailing. Its so-called Outdoor Profis, who operate 140 outdoor shops in Germany, are now represented on the board by Frank Hirt of X-Sport Hirt & Härter in Kastellaun. More in SGI Europe.
