Salewa's sales rose by 12 percent last year to €110 million, while those of Dynafit jumped by more than 30 percent to €40 million. Combined with other operations, including the distribution of Speedo, Rip Curl and other brands, the Oberalp group raised its sales to €165 million in 2010. Footwear was the fastest-growing category, with an increase of more than 40 percent. The launch of highly technical Dynafit trail running and mountain biking shoes and clothing for high altitudes at the present OutDoor show in Friedrichshafen is going to power this category further. With a 10 percent sales increase in the first half of 2011 and good orders for the fall/winter season, the group is certainly going to reach a turnover of at least €180 million for the full financial year.
