The “King of Poles” had another passion - aviation. With his small red aircraft, Lenhart won various titles in artistic flying, including the German championships. Yesterday afternoon, he headed off for his last flight. Apparently, he trained a young pilot. The aircraft crashed nearby the runway at his home town of Kirchheim outside Stuttgart. According to the local press, the aircraft had engine problems. The motors died and the aeroplane burned out in a forest. The young pilot was rescued with severe injuries, while Lenhart died in the aircraft.
