There is unconfirmed speculation that Werner Riethmann, CEO of Lowa, and the company's contract manufacturer in Slovakia, Riko, are among the candidates to take over Tecnica Group's 60 percent stake in the profitable German-based firm. Two years ago, Riethmann doubled his personal stake in the company to 20 percent and Riko acquired a 20 percent interest. Riko is owned by an Italian entrepreneur, Renzo Castellani.
