About to reach its tenth year, the European Outdoor Conservation Association (Eoca) is preparing a fundraiser on its stand at Ispo Munich in January, which will be in the west entrance this time. While the fundraiser will take place on all four days of the fair, the Eoca is also organizing a Happy Hour on the monday from 6 to 7 pm, where a few companies will sell their products on behalf of the association. The Eoca has prepared a special logo and strapline to mark its tenth year and has been looking for partners to produce branded items to sell with these special features. The atmosphere at the Happy Hour is to be warmed up by glühwein offered by Ispo's organizers, and Eoca members were approached for the production of mugs with the anniversary logo and strapline. Eoca has received strong response to its appeal for product donations and production of branded anniversary items. All stakeholders in the outdoor industry are now encouraged to drop by the fundraiser, and to mingle with existing and prospective members at the Happy Hour. The bar of the Scandinavian Outdoor Group (SOG) will be collecting donations as well. Eoca, which currently has 126 members, has set a target to reach donations of €2 million from its inception until the OutDoor fair in July, up from the current level of €1.8 million.
