Elev8, a small company in the English Lake District that organizes the local Keswick Mountain Festival (KMF), is teaming up with Brand Events, a big organizer of consumer events, to develop and expand the KMF in 2014 and beyond. Brand Events is the company that founded the Outdoors Show in Birmingham in 2002 (no relationship with the Outdoor Trade Show). Founded in 2007, the KMF has become one of the most popular consumer-oriented outdoor events in the U.K., featuring conferences, guided walks and outdoor activities for individuals and families as well as live entertainment. Brand Events will provide marketing, sales and logistical support. The next KMF will run from May 15 to 18, with an expanded program of speakers and entertainment. It will be sponsored by Dare2b.
