Messe München organized one of its seminars under the Ispo Academy umbrella during the Brazilian Adventure Sports Fair, which took place in São Paulo for the 15th time last May 1-5. The 18 products that won the Ispo Awards last February were also presented for the first time at the show, the biggest sports fair in Latin America. The organizers of the two fairs are planning to work together on new projects. The Brazilian Adventure Sports Fair reported an 11 percent increase in the number of visitors to around 60,000 visitors as compared to one year ago. The GSM group had a presence at the fair for the first time through its Element and Von Zipper brands, along with some national surf and skate brands, but Timberland dropped out of the fair, which featured a total of 130 exhibitors. Meanwhile, the organizers of the Brazil Sports Show, which was due to take place in São Paulo on July 12-15, have cancelled this year's edition of the fair. The Brazilian Adventure Sports Fair had attempted a partnership with that event a couple of years ago, but it did not work out.
