The show’s website reveals that OutDoor by ISPO – planned as a mixed digital and physical event for July – has now been postponed to Oct. 5-7, 2021. Upon inquiry, we learned from the ISPO team that the postponement was coordinated with EOG and decided upon after numerous discussions with several companies, trade and association representatives. Markus Hefter, exhibition group director ISPO Munich & OutDoor by ISPO, told The Outdoor Industry Compass that the current pandemic-related situation appears to be making events like the OutDoor by ISPO Global Summit Edition impossible for longer than originally anticipated. ”In our discussions with the industry, it became very clear that personal exchange is at the heart of OutDoor by ISPO for all of us. Therefore, it was the most appropriate step for us to postpone the Global Summit Edition of OutDoor until October.”
