Registration is open for the European Outdoor Summit (EOS) scheduled to take place in Malmö, Sweden, on Sept. 19 and 20 under the theme “The Outdoor Industry – A Progressive Business Sector.” The focus will be on the digitalization of the supply chain and other aspects of the sectors including the use of embedded and wearable technologies, transparency and the engagement of the younger generations. Ispo and W.L. Gore & Associates will continue to be the major sponsors of the EOS for the sixth consecutive year, joined this time by Vibram. The EOS has also announced that the IWA Outdoor Classics fair in Nuremberg will be its first headline sponsor, raising some eyebrows in a market where hunting and other shooting sports are generally not considered to be part of the outdoor sector.
