Responding to strong demand from the sports and outdoor industry, the Ispo fair in Munich has decided to enlarge its Ispo Inspire exhibition area next year to show what individual companies and brands are doing in the area of sustainability and corporate social responsibility. The space dedicated to this exhibit will be moved from Hall 2 to Hall A1 at the Jan. 26-29 show, and it will be expanded by 42 percent to 170 square meters, offering space for the displays of up to 60 brands. The theme will also be discussed in some speeches during the Ispo Action Sports Summit. A year ago, many action sports brands and outdoor brands such as Arc'teryx, Billabong, Indiana, O'Neill, Patagonia, The North Face and Volcom told their stories in this space. The Ispo Inspire exhibit will be coordinated by Brands for Good, a new marketing and communication agency in Munich specializing in delivering information about socially responsible projects in the sporting goods industry in various ways. It will host GreenroomVoice, a two-year-old agency that rates and promotes the environmental performances of outdoor and boardsports brands.
