The It's Great Out There Coalition is holding its second annual assembly on the eve of the European Outdoor Summit (EOS) at the same venue, the Clarion Hotel of Malmö, Sweden, as its first. It will run from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM on Tuesday, Sept. 18, and it will be open to everybody. It will also take place a few weeks before the European Week of Sport, where its campaign will ensure that outdoor will play a prominent role in the #beactive program of activities. Andrew Denton, secretary general of the coalition, notes that more than 263,000 people have been actively engaging with the #itsgreatoutthere campaign on social media and many millions more are seeing its contents. The figures are growing all the time, he says.
