The Spanish Sports Unlimited trade show is going to concentrate on fitness as of next year, moving from Valencia to Sant Cugat del Valles near Barcelona. Targeting operators of fitness centers rather than sporting goods retailers, it will take place on May 13-15, acting as a Spanish follow-up to the international Fibo trade show in Cologne. The decision was made by the co-owners of Sports Unlimited, Aude Business Events and the Valencia Fair, after its failure to attract a sufficient number of exhibitors and buyers from other segments of the sporting goods sector, such as running and outdoor, in spite of a change in its dates from May to March. The organizers hope to raise the number of exhibitors from the fitness equipment and facilities segment from 35 to 50.
