Wechsel, the Berlin-based developer of tents, has been acquired by Skanfriends. The tentmaker will keep its structure in place in the German capital and will now concentrate on product management under the leadership of Jörg Schulze, brand manager, and Steffen Santen, sales manager. Skanfriends has offices in Germany and Denmark and is a specialty company for direct imports of outdoor gear sourced from the Far East. It offers also private-label products to retailers.
