Yeti will move its headquarters to a new and larger site in southwest Austin next year. The maker of coolers and beverage containers has signed an agreement with Lincoln Property Company to build a new 175,000-square-foot complex at Lantana Ridge, off Southwest Parkway, less than two miles from the current headquarters. The project will consist of two 87,500-square-foot buildings as well as outdoor amenities such as a jogging trail, sports court, archery range and more, in line with the company style. The purpose of the move is to accommodate the current workforce while leaving room for future growth, the company said. Preparation work for the new campus has already begun while construction work is scheduled to start this summer. Yeti expects to be able to occupy the new campus by summer 2017.
