Buff has become a founding member of the Climate Action Corps, a movement promoted by the Outdoor Industry Association (OIA) in the U.S. that already unites some 60 outdoor industry companies committed to measure, plan and reduce their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and share their progress annually. The main objective of the Climate Action Corps is to lead positive climate change and achieve an ecosystem free of toxic waste. For the past several years, Buff has been working on its Do More Now program to make its production more efficient, to trade PET-derived fibers for traditional fibers, and use merino wool from suppliers who guarantee the well-being of their sheep.
