Clariant, the Swiss maker of specialty chemicals, has joined the Sustainable Apparel Coalition to cement its commitment to upholding sustainable practices. Membership will give it more opportunity to publicize its own efforts, and to contribute to industry-wide development of sustainable practices. The coalition's goal is to address social and environmental challenges in the apparel and footwear industries.
