Horny Toad Activewear got the highest rating among outdoor and sport brands in the Outside Magazine's Best Places to Work list for 2014. Each year, Outside recognizes the top 100 companies in the U.S. that help their employees achieve the ideal balance between work and play. The Best Places to Work celebrates companies who cultivate a comfortable and collaborative workplace, enable their employees to conduct an active lifestyle and take pride in their roles in the community. Horny Toad Activewear ranked at 76, followed closely behind by Brooks Sports at 78. Smith Optics was rated 91, CamelBak 92, Deckers Brands 93, and Patagonia at 94. To find the best places to work in the U.S., Outside conducted an eight-month vetting process in partnership with the Best Companies Group to assess the policies and practices of hundreds of companies, and asked employees directly about factors such as corporate culture, role satisfaction and work environment.
