The French brand Picture Organic Clothing is saying goodbye to individual plastic packaging in its streetwear collection for spring/summer 2021. Previously, all garments were packed in individual polybags, but now only the cartons in which the merchandise is shipped are to be provided with a protective plastic lining. Each garment is rolled, label facing upwards, and tied with a bast ribbon. According to Picture, this applies to all garments except those that are white or with a particularly light colours. These are packed individually to protect them from dirt, but in smaller pouches than before. Picture wants to reduce the use of plastic to the absolute minimum.
