Royal Robbins has signed up as a Bluesign system partner. It was a logical move for this American company, founded by Royal Robbins and his wife Liz. In the first climb of its kind in the U.S., back in 1967, they made the first ascent with removable nuts in the place of pitons over the granite cracks of the Nutcracker in the Yosemite Valley.
