Ternua, one of the founding members of the It's Great Out There Coalition, organized an event last month where it arranged for a group of ten young people on the margins of the education system to participate in a three-day program of kayaking, canyoning, cycling, via ferrata and sleeping under the stars. Aged 16 to 25, they included a refugee from Syria and a victim of multiple sclerosis. The Spanish brand organized the event in the South of France as part of the #itsgreatoutthere program of promoting outdoor participation in collaboration with local institutions including the Center for Resources, Expertise and Sports Performance (Creps) of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, which is also very involved in ENOS, the European network for outdoor sports. Michel Grogniat, the sales director of Ternua, participated in the event, too.
