The Granite Gear Grounds Keepers removed 3,400 pounds of trash from long trails, section hikes and parks around the U.S. in 2018. The Grounds Keepers team was supported with gear from Granite Gear and Altra Running, a participating partner. Most of the trash that the Grounds Keepers team picked up consisted of small items such as plastic bottle lids, bar wrappers, aluminum cans and toilet paper. Next year, Granite Gear will expand the program to include waterways and lakes. The brand partners for the 2019 program will be announced in January.
